Wordless Wednesday: Happy Harvest Helper

JP @ 31 Weeks

Hard to believe there are only 9 weeks left in our pregnancy with JP! Things are moving along as planned and we can't wait to welcome our baby in 60ish days (or maybe 46? Come on, JP, be a good girl for Mama). Our 30-week appointment came and went without much excitement. Heartbeat sounded great and my belly is measuring about a week ahead of schedule.

How far along? 31 Weeks!!
Total weight gain: I have no idea. Maybe 30? I do know that I have TWO bumps. One in front and one in the back for extra storage!
Sleep: I'm still sleeping well...but it gets harder and harder each night to roll over!
Best moment this week: Getting JP's bed
Movement: She's way more active (forceful?) than Austin was. Sometimes I feel like she's moving my entire body.
Food cravings: Yoo-hoos and powdered donuts. Delish!
Name: Still just JP! Although last night we both semi-agreed on something. Maybe we're getting somewhere?
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Beer. I hate saying that...but I'll admit the Miller Lite in our fridge looks so very tasty!
What I am looking forward to: Organizing her closet and room

Blossom Hill Pumpkin Patch

Okay, I'm 31 weeks pregnant, I'm tried, I'm moving... So, yes, I let my child go to the pumpkin patch in a red shirt, jeans shorts, a CAT hat and blue crocs w/ Thomas charms. I know, I know...I can't believe it either, but it's true. And you know what? He had just as much fun as he would have had in the perfect fall outfit.

We love the small crowds and great prices at our hometown pumpkin patch! Austin had fun running in the corn maze - "Okay, peat after me. We are going right." - and picking out the perfect pumpkins for our new front porch. Some of his choices were a bit questionable but I didn't have the heart to tell him any different. Beauty is in the eye of the pumpkin holder, right? Happy fall, ya'll!

The Final Week!

 

Carpet, counter tops, closet shelves and mirrors were the finishing touches this week. We did the final walk though on Friday afternoon, and by 5:00 we were officially homeowners! It's hard to believe it's all ours!

Eckert's {2011}

We made our annual trip to Eckert's a few weekends ago. This year we were joined by Jack, Finley and Lila. It was a fun afternoon full of fresh air, dirt and apples. The apples were a bit rotten, but our kids were well behaved and seemed to enjoy all the "countryfied" activities. Austin, however, was disappointed that none of the tractors really worked. I promised he could mow hay and cut corn silage as soon as we got home. We always enjoy spending time with our "STL Crew" no matter where we end up!
