Aubrey: 4 Months {4.11.12}

It's hard to believe little JP is already four (almost five at this point) months old. Her little personality is really starting to show. At this point, she seems about as laid back as her brother was at four months old. There isn't much that upsets her except the occasionally tummy ache or not getting picked up as soon as she'd like.
Aubrey, at four months...

...you are still an excellent sleeper. You aren't even close to a nap schedule, but we won't complain because you're sleeping 12+ hours a night.

...you're still eating 5 times a day (most days it's 7:30, 10:30, 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30). It takes you 10 - 15 minutes to eat. (WAY faster than your brother!) I forgot to ask the doctor about starting you on solids...maybe when you turn five months...

...you chew on your hands all the time.

...you're still not a huge fan of tummy time, but we're trying. You'll roll on your side but haven't made it all the way over yet.

...your hair is getting a wee bit thin in the back.

...you are wearing 3 - 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

...you blow out your diaper every. single. time. you go #2.

...you had your first major sickness - RSV - and handled it like a champ. You'd never guess you were so sick the day we took these pictures. This one cracks me up....like a little Grandma sitting by the fire....
...you have really started to "talk" and even let out some wild screams here and there. Your giggles make even the bluest days happy.

...you love playing with your toys. Sophie Giraffe and the little butterfly from your car seat are your favorites.

...your brother is still probably your favorite person. It drives us crazy when he does something to you that he shouldn't and you just laugh at him!

...you are growing just like you should. 14 lbs 12 oz (75%) and 26 inches (95%).

...you are just downright awesome!

Happy 4 Months, Baby Girl! <3

Farrar Family Easter

We ended the day with the Farrar Family. The kids always have so much fun with their older cousins. Austin is still talking about all the stuff he did at Easter. And notice how he's still wearing his tie? He didn't take it off until it was time for bed. He told everyone that his Sunday School Teacher told him he looked "sharp!"
It was fun to celebrate Breck and Aubrey's first Easter together. I have a feeling these two are going to have lots of fun in the future.
Before we knew it, it was time to close the door on Easter 2012. We put Aubrey in her Easter PJs and said our goodbyes before heading home.
And just in case you think I'm exaggerating when I say the Easter Bunny spoils my kids....
We hope you had an Easter that was as special as ours. Happy 1st Easter to our sweet Aubrey Marie!

Easter with the FerFers

Easter Brunch with the FerFers...

Austin and Aunt Sissy had a good time hunting eggs. They found all but one...and then everyone had to chip in to find the missing egg.
That Easter Bunny sure was busy! I wonder if Aubrey will let Austin open up all of her presents next year...

Easter Morning {Aubrey's 1st}

Aubrey woke up on her first Easter with a nasty cough. It wasn't constant but it was wicked once she'd start in. The morning felt very rushed as we tried to get the kids ready, make food and celebrate as a family of four. At one point were going to keep Aubrey home all day, but a call the the doctor's exchange reassured us that she was fine to enjoy the day (we all know how that turned out).
We enjoyed with the Easter Bunny left before heading out the door to being the day's festivities. We had a long day ahead of us and didn't know how long our kids were going to last.
A fishing pole, PJs, DS game and Thomas stuff for Austin. PJs, Jellycat bunny, story book and baby legs for Aubrey.
Even though the morning was busy, I still took a minute to enjoy these sweet kiddos in front of the fireplace in our new home. A year ago we were anxiously waiting to start on our house and just announcing our new bundle of joy. Two dreams came true in just a year. Could we be any more blessed?
