Our Little House on The Prairie: July 25 - 29

Front door added and dirt pile removed!
Heating and cooling stuff!
Can lights!
Electrical boxes!
Pipes!
Attic steps!
Backdoor!
Garage door!
A little bit of dirt in the back yard!
I didn't get down to the house to take pictures until Friday night (it was a busy week with doctor's appointments, preschool orientation, ballgames and a Thirty-One party)...and boy was I surprised to see the progress! I love our doors, especially the backdoor with the built-in blind. Awesome! We're hopeful that the coming week brings a final brick decision and maybe garage doors so the house will be all sealed up!

BirthDAY {3-years-old}

We started Austin 3rd birthday off with a trip to Sparta (to look at brick, of course) and lunch at his favorite place... Doreen's! After lunch, we celebrated with a tasty hamburger cake!
Nana & Pa, B and The Ferfers came over later in the afternoon to help our birthday boy celebrate.
A trampoline from Aunt B!
Dinner time!
A "struction" set from Uncle Jonathan!
A combine from Nana and Pa!
Waiting for his gift from Mom and Dad...
A basketball "shoot!"

Our family of four :)
He asked for "like a little farm cake.." so we did what we could!
Nothing says happy birthday to me...
...then ice cream right out of the container!
We ended the night with a special phone call from Uncle Jonathan!

Incredible Pizza

We were going to take Austin to Chuck E Cheese while we were on vacation, but a few guys at work talked Jay into Incredible Pizza. We went on Wednesday hoping the crowd wouldn't be bad. I don't think Austin really knew what we were doing until we walked in the doors and he ran full force towards the game room. We quickly pulled him back and broke the news that we had to eat before we could play. It was finally time to play once we had our fill of the pizza buffet. I think he's still a little young for most of the games, but he was so proud of every game he "winned!"
Ski Ball is dangerous when you throw overhand!
He begged to ride the go-carts.
Slight meltdown when he realized he couldn't drive!
And they're off!
Mini golf
Car racing
Deer hunting
The boys are our prizes - a paper airplane and slinky!
