King Stefan!

We took a break from working miracles to attend the RBHS '09 Homecoming. It was the first time Mommy had been to homecoming since she was in school, but boy was it an exciting one!

Our favorite Senior, Stefan, was crowned King!We were so excited for him! Congrats, Steafan! We ♥ you!

Workin' Miracles

This past Saturday we were honored to be apart of the Mines' Miracle Workers benefit. Our good friend, Jason Mines, was diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago. We all got together and put on one heck of a benefit! We know it's only a drop in the bucket but we hope it at least eases the financial burden for awhile. Austin's shirt was a little too big but we had to get at least one picture!

Me, MyShelf, and I

We are lucky enough to have awesome storage in Austin's room. These shelves, which were once perfect for our office, are now perfect for Austin's toys. On Monday night we lift the curtains and let him to go town ALL WEEK LONG. It's become a habit to wait until Sunday afternoon to really pick things up. Toys are put back into their place, lost balls are found and missing pieces are recovered for the oddest places. Here's how the week usually goes...

Just getting started on Monday afternoon...
Mid-week...
Things are getting a little out of control by Friday afternoon...
Before clean-up on Sunday afternoon...
My favorite part about cleaning up is seeing where Austin left his toys. I often wonder what he was thinking while he was playing.

The Hippo had a farmer for lunch...
The monkey had to go to school...
The John Deere Man was nearly flushed in the ball popper!
The poor cow stuck in the gate...
And who doesn't enjoy finding a horse in the cookie jar?
We clean up during nap time on Sunday......and then start all over again!

The Other Green Tractor

If you ask Austin's Uncle C. or his Godfather Ryan what color their favorite tractor is, they'll both say green. His Pa will tell you the same, but he's not talking about the same tractor. Oh no, he's talking about the one and the only green tractor...The Old Oliver.
This tractor belonged to Austin's Great-Grandpa Salger before it was Pa's.Here he is yelling at Brittany to get those wagons hooked up! Come on! We've got work to do!
A Farmer's work is never done...

14 Months Old

14-months-old already! I have a feeling these monthly pictures are going to get a little more difficult each month!
Austin, at 14-months...

You know where your belly and nose are.

You give high fives.

You say something that resembles "what's that?"Your new "words" are GO and K! (for okay). You answer K to everything! You hate Wal-MartYou have your own words for Pig and Dog - Gig and Pup

You only get your pacifier at nap time and bedtime. You act like you've been reunited with a long long friend each time you see your Pa (Pa for Pacey, not to be confused with Pa for Grandpa!)You're only take one nap a day. Usually between 12:00 and 2:00.

Your bedtime is between 8:00 and 8:30. You're going to bed like champ, but usually want to be in our bed around 4:00am.

You got your third tooth at 13 months & 3 weeks old! Your fourth tooth showed a week later! You love Kalli and Kyle's old Gymboree movie. Especially, "where are the bees," "little ducky duddle" and "shakin' my hands."You are fascinated by Bear In The Big Blue House

You say "side" for outsideYou can crawl "normally" when you want to.

You love anything with wheels -- cars, trucks, tractors, etc!You turn all circular objects into steering wheels.

You love to give hugs and kisses, which might just be our favorite trick!

We love you, buddy!
