Insta-Update Feb Part II

One. A much needed yummy breakfast with the BFFs
Two. Saturday night snuggles on the couch with my oldest and youngest sons
Three. A new pickers meant a late bedtime. The kid loves the show and to "pick" any chance he can get.
Four. When Dad watches the kids.
Five. We all scream for ice cream!
Six. Finding unopened shower/wedding gifts is always fun
Seven. One thing I'm going to miss at Sigma Aldrich - The Cafeteria.
Eight. 31 weeks
Nine. Trying to make a final decision on A2 and A3's shared bedroom.
Ten. One last trip to The Cup!
Eleven. Everyone enjoys the end of pregnancy ice cream cravings.
Twelve. Half days of school knock him out. He'll be in bed by six once kindergarten starts.
Thirteen. I feel like I never have any instagrams of Aubrey. I realized it's because she NEVER stops moving. Most of the time the picture is blank because she's taken off before my camera can flash. She's a girl on the go!

Hard to believe it's the last day of February. We're looking forward to a very exciting March - new job for mom, Aubrey's 15 mo checkup, 33 week prenatal appointment, St. Patrick's Day, a few birthday parties, Aunt B and Johnny's engagement party, School/Church dinner auction and our last holiday as a family of four - Easter!

Valentine's Day Treats

Dad surprised us on Valentine's Day with some yummy treats. Everyone enjoyed the goodies, especially pregnant Mama.

Later that night we let the kids open their Valentine's Day Gifts - Valentine's Day books, candy, PJs and cups for everyone. Austin and Baby Boy even got a matching set of PJs!

Aubrey was disappointed that her cup came empty, but she cheered up when she found the Tootsie Rolls.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day School Party {2013}

This year's treats included a shovel with M&Ms and a sticker that said "I dig you!" Austin enjoyed putting them together but I don't think he ever fully understood why we were giving everyone a shovel.
I love being able to work from home on the days he has parties. I figure it won't be long before he'll be embarrassed to have his old mom there!
We must get this poor child some longer pants. The trouble is that 5Ts are way too big for this bean pole - even if they have an adjustable waist!
Mrs. S. likes to hide her treats around the classroom. Austin looked all over before finally finding his in a shopping cart.
Then it was time for musical seat pads. He made it all the way to the final four.

They finished up the party with a bit of dancing.
We LOVE Mrs. S and Mrs. P!!
Soon it was time to head home and go through all those yummy treats!

Baby Boy @ 30 Weeks

How far along? 30 weeks - The beginning of the end.
Sleep? Still good after the restless legs finally give in
Best Recent Moment? Deciding that A2 and A3 will share a bedroom until A2 is ready for a toddler bed. A1 is just not ready to move to the other side of the house. Or maybe I'm not ready for that. Whatever.
Miss Anything? Not really
Movement? He's definitely making his presence known
Size of the Baby? "A good-size cabbage in weight, tipping the scales this week at 3 lbs. Roughly 15 3/4 inches, head to heal."

Food Cravings? Nerds
Labor Signs? Nope
Weight Gain? Almost 30 lbs
Belly Button In or Out? Still In
Wedding Rings On or Off? Still On
Mood? I think it's fine. Those closest to me probably disagree.
Looking Forward To? An exciting new work adventure ahead!!
30 Week Appointment: All is well. Belly is right on track and heartbeat was 140.
Next Appointment: March 11 @ 33 weeks
Name: Jay is set on the name that I wanted for Austin. I still like it but it's (and all  its variations) so popular these days... 70 days to figure it out!

Insta-Update February Part I

1. A trip to visit Grandpa Ferfer between birthday parties the first weekend in February. He's doing will and will hopefully be able to come home after a few more weeks of physical therapy. We all look forward to visiting him at home again soon.
2. I think my son is going to be a preacher. He reads to us from the bible non-stop. This particular Sunday that story was about when Jesus traveled from America to Jerusalem to Chicago. Apparently when the people need Jesus they just shout "JESUS" and he will come to them. A few minutes later he asked me if I knew Jesus' phone number because he really needed to text him. I'm sure it was about next week's lesson.
3. Triplet the birthday fun! Austin was so excited to be invited to his cousins' birthday party. I was so surprised that he actually let me leave him at the party. On the way home he told me how much fun he had and that he was "nice and said please and thank you."
4. Our little ragamuffin asking for more eggs. She ate dinner and walked around with that hat on like it was a
completely normal thing to do.
5. Yummy treats from The Cup in the CWE. A definite perk of working in this area.
6. Austin's Valentine's Day treats for his classmates. Shovels with M&Ms and "I Dig You" stickers.
7. I told Austin we needed to check the Dollar Spot at Target for a Valentine's mailbox for his brother. He said right away that he hoped they had a blue one. I told him I wasn't sure if they came in anything other than red or pink. Sure enough... there was a blue one that once again made our mantle complete!
8. Aubrey loves loves to play in my makeup drawer. Maybe a little too much...
 9. Austin enjoying his Valentines's Day party with his cousin, Luke.
10. We always blame Austin for the mess in the playroom. A few nights ago I realized that maybe he's not the only one that leaves a mess behind. This little girl leaves no bucket, basket or bag unturned.
11. Baby Boy has officially taken over the linen closet. Hopefully we'll be making progress on his room soon.  Still plenty of time...right?
12. This pregnant girl's dream: Nutella French toast and bacon. I may have lunch at Rooster in downtown STL everyday for the rest of my pregnancy.
