Gallbladderless Mommy

I dropped my gallbladder off at St. John's exactly 6 weeks after Austin was born. (Nothing has changed at the hospital -- The place is still wonderful!) Everything went really well with the surgery. Come to find out my doctor is the one who pioneered this surgery at St. John's. He isn't the one that invented the entire thing, but he's the one who learned it first and then taught the rest of the doctors. I guess I was in good hands! I'm a little sore this morning, but nothing serious. The worst part was getting rid of the air that they fill your abdomen with. Each time the nurses would ask me to rate the pain, I would say, "Uhm...I just had a baby...maybe a 2!" I have to go back for a follow up in the next 10 - 14 days. I think we'll be couching it for the next few days! I got this text message when I got to my recovery room.... Sorry about the lack of posts the last few days. Mommy has been a little nervous!

Comfortable??"Bring back the Olympics!"

"They really aren't bringing them back?!?!"
