Branson Part II: Silver Dollar City

We were up and at 'em bright and early on Monday morning. Everyone was excited to get to Silver Dollar City! Austin didn't want anything to do with the rides -- he even flipped out when the guy tried to measure him. It was a nice day but we did run into a bit of rain while we were on our train ride. We tried to bribe them to let us stay on but they weren't having it. We made a run for it and took shelter on the porch of a small store until the rain passed. We made a few more stops, stocked up on suvies (including Austin's first pop gun), and shared a funnel cake before calling it a day.
We got home early enough to give everyone enough time to rest before heading to Branson Landing for the night. Austin knew that I wanted a picture of everything he did, so he started asking to get his picture taken when he wanted to do something. He ran to the four wheeler in front of Bass Pro and said, "picture, mama, picture!" The landing is so pretty in the evening. I think we all could have sat around the water all night long, if we weren't so hungry! We decided on Famous Dave's -- and we weren't disappointed! Yum-O!
The vacation was going great until...the Pacie Bandit showed up!
We had so much fun in Branson. Austin is still talking about the "con-doo" and "cation." There's just something about four days of rest and relaxation that make you realize how great your family is! We can't wait to see where the road takes us next year!
