Aubrey 8 mo {8.11.12}

Oh baby girl! This blog gets harder and harder to keep up with after each passing day. The time between month 7 and month 8 were very VERY busy for you! At seven months and 3 weeks, you took off crawling and haven't looked back. The very same night you decided you'd learn to stand up in your bed all by yourself -- which meant bedtime turned into playtime. You were so proud of your new skills. This was quite the adventure for all of us due to the fact that your bed was still at it's highest setting and Dad was out of town.
I know, baby girl, I can't believe there's a eight on your shirt either!
Your personality is really starting to shine. We feel like you're a bit more adventurous and "rough" than your brother was (or even still is). You love to clap and scream. Not just a little yell here and there...we're talking ear piercing screams that probably worry the neighbors. Dinning out has become some what embarrassing now that you've found your voice. However, your voice has also brought us sweet sounds like ma ma ma, buh buh buh and da da da. We pretend you know exactly what you're saying.
I know, baby girl, you ARE the boss.
On to a few other things that you've mastered and/or enjoyed the past month...
...the perfect little pincer grasp.
...being cute.
...finally trying out your high chair. (you used the bumbo WAY more than your big bro)
...pulling yourself up on your toys, the couch, our pant legs, etc...
...your first bonfire!
...perfecting cute.
...driving your brother crazy!
...lashes that just may rival your brother's.
...eating by yourself.
A few videos to remind us of your sweet, but very loud voice...

Your smile is still all gums, but it hasn't slowed down your appetite. You're so over baby food. You want REAL food and will scream or even hold your breath until we give you something from the table. Your sleep schedule is still on track - approx. 7:30p to 7:30a with two naps during the day.  Your laugh is contagious and brings a smile to our face every single day.

Happy 8 Months, Aubrey Marie!
