We waited until the VERY LAST minute to see Santa. We had good intentions to go early, but Dad's busy work schedule and other family issues had us knocking on Santa's door right before he had to take off on Christmas Eve. I was so grateful with the Hentis' decided to join us. We all bundled up and made our way to make sure Santa knew exactly what the kids wanted.
Austin wasn't really sure about this trip. In fact, while we were trying to find a place to park, he told Kalli that he "really wished we weren't doing this!" The kid worries about everything and I honestly have no idea where he gets it. Seriously.
We only had to wait a few minutes before our turn. Aubrey was cool as cucumber until we sat her on Santa's lap....
Austin was trying to be so brave but you could tell he was having the exact same thoughts as his sister...
Kalli and Kyle jumped in the picture....
..and the official Santa picture of 2012 was complete!
Aubrey kept a watchful eye out the rest of the trip to make sure we were going to put her back on Santa's lap... (Austin in the background worrying about the sound level of the mall...or what we're going to have for lunch...or world peace...you know, everyday stuff to us him.)
We enjoyed a bit of shopping and lunch before heading home to get read for the most magical night of the year. Definitely a Christmas Eve we won't soon forget!
