Austin's Preschool teacher recently celebrated her birthday. I thought it would be nice to have Austin make a card for her now that he can write his own name. I got out a piece of paper, wrote Happy Birthday, and left Austin to work his magic. A few minutes later he told me he was finished and that I should come check out his work.

I had no idea he could draw "people" so I was totally impressed with his drawing of me, Mrs. S. and himself at the top of the card. And it totally shocked me when I saw MOM under the person that clearly looks like me. And his name at the bottom? Awesome! The T and N are overrated anyway. But then I noticed something a little interesting...
Let's take a closer look at Mrs. S., shall we?
Hmmm... I quickly asked Austin what the circles were by Mrs. S's arms and he told me they were
"like, uhm, her skin and stuff."
And Stuff.
Oh boy.
Maybe it's time to nurse in private for awhile...
We finally added two more circles to the left and right, connected them with a line and called it "Mrs. S.'s necklace!"

LOL! I love this! I would like to see how my kids portray me. I am sure Mrs. Steele loved this!!
