Lunch in the Park

Last week started off rough. I woke up Monday morning to a phone call from Nana - Austin had stayed the night with them and had just thrown up. He came home shortly after we realized it wasn't going to be a one-time thing. It ended up being a very long day with 10 PJ changes and multiple loads of laundry by the time the day was over. He was better by Tuesday morning but we kept him home from school just to be safe. We opened up windows and did more laundry to make sure all the germs were gone.

I don't know how much longer my run as a SAHM will last, so we're trying to make the best of it. We headed to the park for a quick lunch before his haircut on Wednesday.
Dad called from Mexico while we were eating. He thought it was funny that we were at the park. He said "country people don't go to the park!" We told him country people that don't have grass do! :)
Tried to get a cute brother/sister shot, but Austin was terrified of the guy mowing grass.
He made wishes once the lawnmower man was far enough away. Wishing for a new tractor, of course.
Gotta enjoy the little things in life, like picnics in the park and dandelions from your baby boy!
