Pumpkin Patch

We're finding that a lot gets done late minute when you have a dad that works on-call and a mom that works an hour away from home. We finally made to the pumpkin patch three or four days before Halloween. (Just wait until you see how long we waited to see Santa!) It was a beautiful day even though it was a bit windy. Austin's first stop won't surprise anyone...
Pictures with these two are getting harder and harder to come by. I can't even imagine what next year's trip will be like!
A quick stroll through the corn maze...
I tried to get a few good pictures while Dad paid for our pumpkins. Do you see the look on Austin's face? That's the attitude we got most of the time we were there. Ah, four is such a joy!

Dad and Austin went to town carving the perfect jack-o-lanterns for our front porch.
Aubrey didn't know what to think...
I took her back inside and we waited..and waited...and waited for the boys to come back in. I had no idea they were still out there carving pumpkins. I was totally impressed when they finally knocked on the front door!
A fun afternoon despite a four-yr-old and a pregnant mama who desperately needed naps!
