Our New Year's day fish fry tradition continued once again at the Hentis' after we bailed these two out of jail....
They must have snuck out for a little NYE fun after their parents where in bed by 10:30.
We definitely don't start the new year on an empty stomach in our family. We could have feasted on fish and other fired goodies for days. We hung out in Kyky's room once our bellies couldn't hold anymore.
We headed downstairs for games once my kids had successfully touched or moved every single thing in Kyky's room. First up was a beehive game that reminded us of Kur Plunk.
Next up with Hedbanz. Austin picked up on this game quickly and was enjoying it as much as the adults. He could guess what he was but we didn't have to worry about him telling anyone else what they were because he couldn't read the cards. His first guess was always "am I Hartmann's?"
