Cereal has FINALLY been served to Baby Girl. I remember being so excited for the day we could give Austin cereal. I don't know why it's so different this time around. Maybe it's because we didn't want our baby girl to be old enough for cereal. Or maybe we just didn't want to add it into an already busy schedule that's about to get busier as I head back to work. We finally gave in after numerous guilt trips during dinners. She'd watch our forks go from plate to fork and back again like she was just waiting for the time she'd get a bite.
She's done really well with it so far. A week or two and she'll be more than ready to try some veggies. Right now she's getting milk every three hours from 7:30 - 1:30, cereal at 4:30 and then two more rounds of milk at 5:30 and 8:30. The next goal will be to stretch her feedings out at 4 hours (7:30, 11:30, 3:30, 7:30) with two "real" meals thrown in.
