Austin's Christmas Party

It was once again party time in Austin's classroom. This party was extra special because it was to celebrate Jesus' birthday!

Extra special thanks to Nana who thought about treats for Austin's friends. I thought about them but after just having a baby...a thought was a far as I got! We set up an assembly line and Austin got to work putting together treats for his classmates.
He was so excited the day of the party. I was also excited because I actually got to go! A rarity for a working mom! We got him all dressed up in his North Pole shirt and sent him off with a promise that Mom would be there just in time for the party.
The celebration was short and sweet but you could tell it was special to all the kids. They enjoyed a Christmas snack, passing out goodies, playing Christmas bingo and singing songs before it was time to head home.
He couldn't wait to get home to show JP all his goodies! The best part of the morning for me, was when we  were driving home and he said, "thanks A LOT for coming to my party, mom!"
