The kids played with their toys and took a long nap (Christmas miracle!) before it was time to celebrate with Nana, Pa, B and Johnny. (Okay, Austin played while Aubrey looked at him like he was crazy)
We kicked off the Salger Christmas with a turkey fry. Austin was so excited to drink his root beer with the boys. How often can you hang out outside in t-shirts and light jackets on Christmas Day? With a two-week-old none the less!
The auger finally arrived!! Apparently Santa realized he forgot to leave it just as he was leaving Walsh, so he dropped it off at B and Johnny's. Whew! Crisis averted.

Dinner is DONE!! And it was SOOOOO good!
Our first family Christmas in our new home at our new dinning room set (which Pa said we had to buy or he wasn't coming, lol!)!
Our living room was PACKED with gifts! We are a crazy, gift-giving family!
The time had finally come to dive into all those presents! Austin, as you'll see, was so excited about everything he got.
The last gift might have been his favorite...work boots and a coat JUST LIKE Pa's! I think he wore them two days straight.
Then it was time to try out my new tripod. Thanks, Johnny and B!
And of course we couldn't end the night without B and Aubrey playing dress-up.
I wasn't kidding about the work boots.....
